Obituary of Kathleen Edith Meville

Meville, Kathleen "Edith" Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, July 11th, 2009 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Roy Meville (2000). Loving mother of Donna Weeden and her husband Ted, Sharon Meville-Cryer and her late husband Thomas, and Karon Zannoni and her husband Elio. Devoted grandmother of Colleen, Marty, David and Jennifer; the late Kimberley, Eunice, Tammy, Erina, Natalie and Roy; and Gregory. Great-grandmother to 17 grandchildren. She is survived by her brothers and sisters Ethel Robillard, Joan Fink, and Murray, Jim, John and Ken Lewis. Predeceased by her sisters Marjorie Morris and Grace Lawrence, and her brothers Cecil and Bruce Lewis. She will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly St. on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Edith in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
