Obituary of Evangelina Rego

REGO, Evangelina - Passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 30th, 2009 in her 71st year, surrounded by her loving husband and family. Beloved wife of Francisco for over 48 years. Loving mother of Frank and his wife Robin, Maria and her husband George Mitchell, Elizabeth and her husband John Szabo, and Sandra Rego (Ron George). Devoted grandmother of Ashlee and her husband Jeff Campbell, Matthew, Katey, Jessica, Courtney and Lexie, and great-grandmother of Jade, Landin, Trinity, Olivia, Hannah and Alexis. She is survived by her sisters Estrela Faria and Margarida Pacheco. Predeceased by her brother Jose Aguiar and Manuel Aguiar and her baby daughter Sandy (1973). Evangelina will also be sadly missed by her many other neices, nephews, family members and close friends. Her family greatly appreciates the loving care and support provided by the Aberdeen Health and Community Service in Brantford. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers at 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish (St. Mary's), 133 Murray St. on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Paris. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre or Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Evangelina in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
