GERMAN, Herb - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Norview Lodge, Simcoe. Herb is survived by his brothers Bill and Raemond German and first wife and life long friend Phyllis Bell. Loving father of Carmen and Pam, Brian and Weizhen, Arlene and Ron, Timothy and Kelly, Adam, Paul and Linda. Dear grandfather of Brandon and Keri, Ben, Danielle and Chris, Jacquilyn, Tanis, Evan, Connor, Jakob, Athena and Ryan and great-grandfather of Izabella, Noah and Hunter. Herb will also be dearly missed by many other family and friends. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Thursday, June 25th, from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 2:00 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Diabetes Association or the St. George United Church Elevator Fund would be greatly appreciated.

A tree will be planted in memory of Herb in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
