CASTONGUAY, Clarisse (nee Gratton) - Passed away peacefully in her sleep at Heritage Green Nursing Home, Stoney Creek on Thursday, June 4th, 2009 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Philip (1999). Loving mother of Conrad (Sherron) and Jean (Donald) Piette. Devoted "Grandma" to Michele (Alex) Mifsud and Greg, and "Little Grandma" to her great-grandchildren Tristan, Emma and Jessica. She is predeceased by her parents and 12 brothers and sisters. Clarisse will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 133 Murray St. on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Clarisse in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
