SPEECHLEY, Alice McLuskey - Passed away at her home, after a brief illness, on May 14, 2009 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence "Jim" Speechley (2001), as a war bride, for over 56 years. Loving mother of Ron (Carole), Bonnie (Gord) MacDougall and Ian. Devoted "Gramma" to Kevin (Karen) Follington, Matthew MacDougall (Jessy Berry), and her great-grandchildren Cameron and Nathaniel. She is predeceased by her daughter Patricia, her sister May, and her brother James. Alice will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a long standing member of the Bellview Community Seniors. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Monday, May 18, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Private Family Funeral Service will be held. Interment Wilsonville Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Alice in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
