BURDEN, Edgar Clayton - Passed away suddenly after a brief illness, at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, March 25th, 2009 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Lois for over 46 years. Loving father of Karen (David) Vance, Kristie (Brian) Jordan, April Ahlborn, and Patti (Andy) Sharman. Devoted grandfather of nine grandchildren, Andrew (Jenn), Jordan, Brianne (Peter) Ligori, Matt and Sally Vance, Megan, Alexandra and Stephanie Ahlborn, and Mackenzie and Justin Sharman. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Ed worked at Johnson's Wax for over 39 years, was a long time member of the Johnson's Wax Retirees, and an active member of St. Stephen's and Grace Anglican Churches. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Grace Anglican Church, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Edgar in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
