Obituary of Frederick Campbell

CAMPBELL - Frederick J. - Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, on Tuesday, March 17th, 2009 in his 89th year. Fred is survived by his brother Roy and his wife June. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Florence Campbell, and his sister June Clark and her husband Charles. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Karen, Wayne, Brad, Lyn, Donna and Shari, and many other family members and friends. Fred served in the Army during the Second World War as a mechanic, and continued in that profession throughout his life working for many years at the Campbell Family's Garage in St. George. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Legion Service Thursday at 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment St. George Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Fred in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
