Obituary of Irene MacDonald

MacDONALD, Irene (nee Mouland) - Passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, February 26th, 2009 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late John D. MacDonald. Loving mother of Garry and his wife Carol. Devoted grandmother of Elizabeth, Garry, James (Meredith) and Jonathan, who were her pride and joy. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Paczosa and her niece Vicky. She will also be sadly missed by her many other family members and friends. Irene retired from the St. Joseph's Hospital after 27 years in the Dietitians Office. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Wednesday from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Irene in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
