MORICE, Velma (Lee) (nee Shepherd) - Born Velma Shepherd on Valentines Day 1903, she departed this life peacefully at Park Lane Terrace Nursing Home in Paris on Saturday, September 27th, 2008, in her 106th year. Predeceased her 1st husband Clifton Lee and her 2nd husband Wilfred Morice; her two brothers John Shepherd and his wife Louise Smith and 2nd wife Blanche Proper and Wray Shepherd and his wife Vera Crumback. She is also predeceased by her daughter Eleanor Pocrnic and her husband Nick. Velma is survived by her two sons John Lee and his wife Dorothee and James Lee and his wife Audrey. Cherished grandmother of Gary, Andre, Lori, Kevin and six great-grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Park Lane Terrace and Dr. Williams for her excellent care. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Wednesday, October 1st, from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation to Park Road Pentecostal Church, 643 Park Road North, N3R 7X5, or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Velma in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
