GARNETT, Alice Louise (nee Cowell), May 17, 1913 - September 25, 2008 - Passed away at the Brantford General Hospital, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late William Garnett (1962). Precious mother of Ann (Gord) Easto and Jack (Louise) Garnett. She will be lovingly remembered by six grandchildren, Scott, Greg and Blake Easto, Monique, Will and Andrew Garnett and their spouses, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Alice is predeceased by her parents Steve and Catherine Cowell, and sisters Ivy Rolt and Maude Anderson. Alice was a life member of the Brant Artillery Ladies Axillary Club, a member of Beckett Seniors, and Woodman Seniors where she enjoyed playing euchre and belonged to a 10 Pin League at Echo Bowl. Our sincere thanks to the wonderful staff of Charlotte Villa for their considerate care during the past six years. According to Alice's wishes there will be no visitation. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, (519) 752-4331. If so desired donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Alice in the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
