Obituary of Margaret Snider

SNIDER, Margaret - Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008, at St. Joseph's Lifecare, in her 92nd year. Beloved sister of the late Donald Snider (2008) and his wife Betty Snider of Brantford. Loving aunt of Dr. Don-Nee German of St. Joseph, Michigan, and Nancy and her husband Dr. Bob Willihnganz of Victoria, British Columbia. Great-aunt to Dr. Rachel E. German, Donald B. German and Laura WIllihnganz. Miss Snider was the oldest member of Harmony United Church, her home church all of her life. She was very active in church life and had been the Secretary of the Sunday School and leader of the CGIT group. Miss Snider is remembered as a kind and loving teacher for over 37 years. She taught in one room school houses throughout the area, and taught at Cainsville School for over 25 years. The family will receive friends at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Sunday, September 28th from 12-1 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Stedman Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Margaret in the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
