Obituary of James McIsaac

McISAAC, James "John" Patrick - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a truly loving and remarkable man, on Tuesday, September 16, 2008. After a wonderful day surrounded by his entire family and wrapped with the great compassion and care of the volunteers and staff of the Stedman Community Hospice, John left us to be reunited with his wife, his best friend and the love of his life, our beautiful mother Shirley Jean. Dad's love, kindness and great sense of humor will never be forgotten and deeply missed. John was the beloved father of Gerald and Joanne, David, Shelley and Brian and Kim and the cherished Papa of Christine, Patrick, Mitchell and Jackson. He will be greatly missed by the many in-laws, nieces and nephews and thier families, who welcomed him so lovingly into their lives. John was totally blessed with the special friendships he had with Sue Belair, Jim and Shirley Locke and Jim and Dean Weir and the great care of his neighbors. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Saturday, September 20, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of John in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
