GEIER, Ernest - Peacefully surrounded by family at the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, September 14th, 2008 in his 83rd year. Loving father of Ingrid and her husband David Banks, and Elfreda Thomson. Caring "Opa" of Darren (Claudette), Elisia, Dan, and Tara. Caring companion of Mildred Eadie "My Girl". Ernest loved to bowl, play cards and ride his bike. At Ernest's request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. Interment of Ernest's ashes will take place privately. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Ernest in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
