Obituary of Karl Ploetz

PLOETZ, Karl - Peacefully at Temiskaming Hospital on Sunday, September 7, 2008 in his 77th year. Born at Goerlitz, Germany, Mr Ploetz came to Canada in 1958 and moved to the Hamilton area to work in various factories. His last occupation was with Massey Ferguson where he was employed as a foreman in the assembly division. He relocated to Haileybury in the late 80's. Mr Ploetz was predeceased by his parents Karl Plotz Sr. and Pauline Keller; and his loving wife Lenore Ploetz. Visitation will be held at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home, Haileybury, Ontario on Wednesday, September 10th, 2008 beginning at 9:30am. A Funeral Service will follow at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with Reverend Micol Cottrell officiating. Friends will also be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford on Friday from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Friday at 11a.m. Interment St George Cemetery.
