Obituary of Grace Bone

BONE, Grace E., Reg. Nurse - Peacefully on Friday, August 8th, 2008 at the Brantford General Hospital. Grace was born, July 22, 1915 in Hagersville, Ontario. She was the daughter of Dr. J.S. Bone (1946) and Ruth (nee Stadder) (1971). Predeceased by her sister Mary Greenwood (1994) and her brother Dr. J.K. Bone D.V.M. (1999). She will be sadly missed by her sister Margaret Proctor, of Hamilton. Grace was a graduate of the Hamilton General Hospital Nursing Program, Class of 1942 A. She was a truly dedicated nurse for 21 years at the Nora Francis Henderson Hospital in Hamitlon. Grace was an aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. At her request cremation has taken place. "May there be no moaning of farewell when I have crossed the bar." A tree will be planted in memory of Grace in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
