Carriss, Sadie (nee Mooradian)
Peacefully at Stedman Community Hospice on Friday, July 25th, 2008 in her 92nd year. Beloved mother of Joe (Betty). Devoted grandmother of Debbie McGregor, Michele (Jeff) White, and her great-grandchildren Jessica McGregor and Kendra White. She is survived by her sister Marguerite Kaloostian. Predeceased by her parents John and Anne Mooradian and her sisters Nora (John) Nelson, and Martha (Ray) Suddaby. She will also be sadly missed by her nieces, nephew and friends. Many thanks to the staff and volunteers at the Stedman Community Hospice, Dr. Donna Allen and Dr. Bernadette McNeil. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Ave., on Monday from 12 - 1 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Interment Oakhill Cemetery. Donations to the Stedman Community Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Sadie in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
