BARRY, Marguerite Jean (nee Mitchell) - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital after a short illness, on June 18th, 2008, in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Dwain. The Perfect Mother to her daughters Dawn Hiscocks and Joanne Tate. Much loved mother-in-law of Larry and the late Roy. Proud and loving grandmother to Darryl, his wife Carmen and great-grandmother to Meaghan Hiscocks. She cherished all her family and was very much loved by all of us. Marguerite was a music teacher and a member of both the Greenbrier Presbyterian Church and the Brantford Music Club. We will always miss her. Thanks to the friends who supported her and us, especially in the last weeks. Thanks also to the staff of the Hospital, Tranquility Place Retirement Home, and Marilyn Jones of the Brantford Public Library. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Monday, June 23rd from 2-3 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the chapel on Monday at 3 p.m. with Rev. Donald Young officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brantford Public Library or the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation. A tree will be planted in memory of Mrs. Barry in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
