HATFIELD, Fred - Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 25, 2014 in his 74th year. Loving brother of Herb, Edwin, Jean, Cheryl (Gerry) and Rhonda. Caring uncle of many nieces and nephews. Also greatly missed by Theresa Phalan and sisters-in-law Joyce and Bonnie. Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Doris Hatfield, his brothers Earl and Dean, sisters Isabelle and Marilyn (Jack), his sister-in-law Norma, and nephews Stevie and Gary. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jon Stairs officiating. Interment will take place at Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Community Care Access Centre (CCAC), Red Cross Care Partners, ParaMed or Temple Baptist Church in Cambridge would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Fred in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
