Gray, Jane "Jean" - It is with great sorrow that the family announces the death of Jean Gray (Grandma Gray) at Amber Lea Place, Brantford on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 in her 106th year. Beloved wife of the late James S. Harding. Dear mother of Linda and her husband Richard McNeill and the late Dale Tennant. Survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sister of Violet Crawford, Mary Allard and Sadie McLaughlin. Predeceased by 2 grandchildren; Tina Fudge and Tina Tennant. Special long time friend of Pastor Scott Bacon and family. Mrs. Gray was a member of Evangel Pentecostal Church for over 70 years and a retired employee of Harding Carpets Ltd. Thank you to Dr. Hadley and Amber Lea Place for their consistent caring and support. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 1-2 p.m. A Celebration of Mrs. Gray's life will be held in the chapel on Sunday at 2 p.m. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Evangel Pentecostal Church would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Mrs. Gray in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
