WELTON, Maude Helen (nee McMillan)Passed away peacefully at River Terrace, Brantford on Thursday, June 5, 2014 in her 102nd year. Beloved wife of the late Frank (1983). Loving mother of Gary (Jean), the late Donna (the late Ross) Peters, Ross (Diane), Doug, Anne (Gerry) Jonker, and Ken (Dolores). Devoted grandmother of 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her 6 brothers and sisters. She will be fondly remembered by all of her family members and friends. Her family would like to thank the Riverview Terrace (Greg and his staff), and the Bayshore workers for their care and compassion. Maude was a long time member of the Women's Institute of St. George and volunteered at Meals on Wheels. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Monday, June 9th from 10 - 11 a.m. A Graveside Funeral Service will follow at Farringdon Burial Ground on Monday at 11 a.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Maude in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
