STENABAUGH, Melvin Harry "Mel" - After a lengthy battle with cancer, Mel passed away at home, on Saturday, May 17th, 2014, in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of the late Maxine Stenabaugh (nee Smith), for over 20 years. Dear father of Mark Stenabaugh and Michael (Pat Elliott) Stenabaugh. Grandfather of Laura (Chris) and Brian and great-grandfather of Edwin and Myla. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Jean Stenabaugh. Mel drove taxi in Brantford for many years. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Tuesday, May 20th, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Mel in the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
