KAPUR, Chander Prabha - Passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with Cancer, on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of Baldev Kapur. Loving mother of the late Archana Kapur-Sehgal, Sanjiv (Jeannie), Jyoti (Paulo Arruda) Kapur. Devoted grandmother of Keith and Kevin Racette, and Samir Sehgal, Cidalia, Enrique, and Emilio Arruda, and two great-grandchildren Chloe and Jase. She is survived by her sisters Chanchal Vohra, Sapna Chadha, Vijay Kapoor and her brothers Virinder Mahendru, and Surinder Mahendru, and their loving spouses. Predeceased by her parents Anjana Devi and Kedar Nath Mahendru. She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Saturday, May 17th, 2014 from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Chander in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
