Obituary of David Allman

ALLMAN, David William - Passed away peacefully in his sleep, in the company of family, at Charlotte Villa on Friday, May 3, 2014 in his 98th year. Beloved husband of his late wife Clarice. Loving father of Brian (Kathy), Ron (Teresa), Janet (Marty Stuckless). Grampa of Chris, Melissa, Matthew, Meghan, Lucas and Great Grampa of Caleb. He was a member of the Highland Light Infantry and served for 5 years during the second world war. After a long career as a letter carrier with Canada Post he became a long time volunteer at the John Noble Home. In keeping with Dads wishes, cremation will take place and there will not be a service. In lieu of flowers Dad would be pleased if the SPCA benefited from your kind gestures. Thank to all the staff of Charlotte Villa for taking great care of Dad over the last 15 months. A tree will be planted in memory of David in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
