Obituary of Nellie Greig

GREIG, Nellie May (nee Todd) - Passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre on Sunday, March 2nd, 2014 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late George Greig (2000). Loving mother of Gordon, of Toronto. She is survived by her brother Fred Todd. Dearest Aunt of Donna (Bob) Brock, and Donna Fokes-Crofton (Eric). Predeceased by her parents John and Isabel Todd, her sisters Anne Butcher, Agnes Burmaster, Sarah Burtch, Vivian Avey, and Maude Campbell, and her bothers John, Harold, William, Kenneth, and Donald. She will also be fondly remembered by her many other nieces, nephews and friends. Nellie's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, especially Pine Trail for the their wonderful care and compassion. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave on Tuesday, Mar. 4th, 2014 from 6 - 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12 - 1 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre or charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Nellie in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
