Obituary of Janet Ruth Keane

KEANE, Janet Ruth (nee Lockington) - Passed away on Saturday, April 19th, 2008, at the John Noble Home, in her 93rd year. Loving mother of Robert Alec "Sandy" and his wife Patricia. Dear grandmother of Jennifer and Colin. Survived by sisters-in-law Mike, Doreen and many loving nieces and nephews. Ruth will be dearly missed by many friends within the community. Predeceased by her brothers Bill, John, Phil and sister-in-law Dorothy. At Ruth's request cremation has taken place privately. A Private Graveside Service was held at Farringdon Burial Ground on Saturday, April 26th, 2008. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Leprosy Mission would be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to Brenda Arbuckle for her kind attention to Ruth; and to the staff of the John Noble Home where Ruth enjoyed her stay and felt she was well taken care of.
