Condolences
I am sure going to miss that smile on the golf course this summer. Uncle Dan was always smiling, always laughing, and always seemed to be looking on the bright side. I have so many fond memories of him, especially at family gatherings during my childhood. Those memories are everlasting and now mean even more.
Sorry to hear about Dan, Lori. I will always remember the great times we used to have at Arrowdale. He was a fun-loving man, who knew how to make everyone smile. My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time. Thinking of you. Sincerely, Sylvia
I was a girl with brothers. I was always too young, a pest to them. Golf finally made us friends, equals. Those games will always be special memories for me. Time is our enemy. You make a place in your heart for each other and then one day, out of the blue, it becomes a 'bruise' and it never heals. Dan, for me, will always be 45's and golf. I never got to hear his karaoke and for that I am truly sad. I pictured a golfing threesome with a singing driver for a rematch this summer....I still do. It will be Dan's best game - no faults - and we'll hit a bucket of balls in his honour.
Uncle Dan taught me to golf and swear and joke around and other fun stuff. But he also taught me values like compassion and humility. And also some very important things, such as the bounties we receive in life are often a direct result of how much we invest in ourselves. It will continue to be a wonderful thing, having so many sincere and happy memories to carry me forward in life.
I am so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with Lori and family.
My condolences to you Lori and Sherry and the rest of your family. My God, how I loved that bald headed fart! Many, many fond memories of him. Thanks Dan, for making work bearable and sometimes even fun.
Our hearts are with you Lori. May you find comfort in your memories. We will always have the memories that we all shared together. With love, Lu & Chet.
Rest in peace Dan and I know that when you get to where you're going you'll hit a hole in one and bowl a perfect game. With much love Chet and Lu.
Our condolences to Lori and family. We had a lot of laughs with Dan at HP. He was a fun guy. We are still laughing over his wedding shoes story.
Dear Lori & Family,I was so sorry to learn of Dan's passing. He was a great guy, enjoyed life and smiled or joked often. He will be missed by his many friends at Arrowdale Golf Club. I would like to express my condolences to you and his family. Take care and keep the many good memories of Dan close to you each day. With my deepest sympathies, Gary.
