Obituary of Edgar Bartlett

BARTLETT, Wayne - Passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, at the Brantford General Hospital, on Tuesday, October 16th, 2013 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Verna for over 51 years. Loving father of Larry (Stacey), Steve, Dave, Roger (Chris), and Victor. Devoted grandfather of Dale, Amanda, Anthony, and Adrian, and his great-granddaughter Kyla. He is survived by his brother Eldon. Predeceased by his parents Edgar Bartlett and Alice Bell, brothers Jim and Bruce, and his sister Pauline. He will be fondly remembered by many other nieces, nephews and friends. Wayne loved to play snooker, go fishing, watch horse racing, and played poker with his regular Saturday night crew. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Friday from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Wayne in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
