Van was a Sunday school teacher when I attended church each week during my childhood and teen years. I moved from Brantford several years ago, but returned with my wife and sons to visit frequently. Each time, I enjoyed a nice chat with Van. She was always interested and cheerful. She will be missed by so many, for her kindness and goodness. Our family extends its condolences to her family and friends.

Aunt Doris we are praying that God will give you peace during this time of Aunt Van's passing. In her gentle and sweet way she touched the lives of many people. She made a wonderful impression in my life at a young age. She is now in the presence of Jesus and I know that we 'will meet again on that beautiful shore' one day soon.
