MEARS, Douglas G. - February 9, 1922 - February 6, 2008. After years of health problems a quiet and gentle man passed away in the Palliative Care Unit at the Brantford General Hospital. Doug is survived by his wife and "Best Pal" for 59 years, Pat and his little buddy "Kodi". He is also survived by his brother Donald (Muriel), his nephews Robert, David and Paul, and his niece Sandra and their families. Doug enjoyed his golf and all our travels from east to west over the years while he was still able to enjoy the trips. At Doug's request there will be no service or visitation. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Brantford S.P.C.A. would be appreciated.
