MARKUS, Antal "Tony" - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 2, 2008, at his home in Brantford, in his 72nd year, with his wife and best friend Debra by his side. Husband of Debra (nee Martin). Father of Alex (Lisa), Andrew (Lise), Elizabeth, and Christine (Alex). Step-father of Nicole (Warren) and Carl (Nicole). Grandfather of Carly, Caitlin, Mikaila and Ethan. Tony immigrated to Canada in 1956 and made Brantford his home. Tony was a long time employee of L.P. International. Tony loved astronomy, soccer and drag racing. At last Tony finally has a clear view of the stars that he has always longed for. A tree will be planted in memory of Tony in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
