Passed away peacefully at the Norfolk General Hospital in Simcoe on Sunday, February 10, 2019 in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Michele Mathewson (Bisson) for 40 years. Loving father of Donny (Rachelle), Mike (Shelly), Amanda and Kelly Rolston. Missed by sister in law Sue Harmon.  Deeply missed by his grandchildren Kaleb, Erika and Abby. Survived by Darryle (Gerald) and Dawn. Loving uncle to Jennifer Kenwall, Adam Vanderlip and Sarah Williams. Remembered by his friends Marko and Melissa. Joe worked at Massey Ferguson for many years. He was a pillar to his family and friends. His smile will be missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford, on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Liver Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

A tree will be planted in memory of Joseph in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
