Obituary of Arthur Neill

NEILL , Arthur - Passed away peacefully at Brantford General Hospital on July 27,2013 in his 95th year. Cherished husband of Della (nee Sherrell), and the late Kate. Devoted father to Rick (Kristi). Sadly missed by brother John (Jean). Predeceased by son David (Margot) and brother Eric (Connie). He will always be loved by his precious grandchildren Paige (Gavin), Stacy (Manuel), Jonathan (Jen,) Laura (Dave), Kaitlin (Scott) ,David ,Andrew and Lukas, and 13 great-grand children who will forever have a place in their hearts for "Grampa". He will also be fondly remembered by Tina and Jim, and his many other family members and friends. Art proudly served as a Sergeant and Drill Instructor in the Armed Forces in WWII and retired from Westinghouse Canada in 1975. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens has taken place privately. A Memorial Service will be held at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave, Brantford on Tuesday August 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Barry Pridham officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brantford SPCA or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Arthur in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
