Obituary of Faye Flake

FLAKE, Faye Anna (nee Bartlett) - On July 24, 2013 at the Brantford General Hospital our precious Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother peacefully passed from our hands to the loving arms of her parents Frederick and Verna, husband Roy, son Richard , great granddaughter Kameryn and sister Jean. She leaves to rejoice in her life and mourn her loss, her son Robert, daughter Kathy (Don), grandchildren Shannon (Jeff), Kristen (Scott), David (Becky), Shawn (Jasmina), Kevin (Amie), Kristine, Erica (Robbie), and Nathaniel (Jessie), great grandchildren Taylor, Bray, Jaxson, Graden, Brynlee, Alivia, Raelynn, Sam and Anna Faye (her namesake). Mom lived for her family and even in the last stages of Dementia remembered each and every one. She is survived by her brothers Frederick (Eleanor) and Franklin (Ramona). We will also be able to share many happy memories with special friends Signe, Shirley and Steve. We wish to thank Riverview Terrace staff for their wonderful care of Mom and family support over the past year. Cremation has been entrusted to Beckett- Glaves Family Funeral Centre, (519) 752-4331. Memorials can be placed at http://www.beckettglaves.com/. A Family Memorial will take place at a later date at Moms favorite restaurant The Mandarin. Donations can be made in memory of Faye to Camp Trillium or the local SPCA for her beloved cat Smokey. A tree will be planted in memory of Faye in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
