SPENCE, Madeleine Bluett "Jo"- Peacefully at the Norview Lodge Retirement Home on Sunday, June 23, 2013 in her 98th year. Beloved Aunt of Daved and his wife Beth, Lindsay and her husband the late Daryl Hawke, Beverly and her husband Andy Taylor. Predeceased by her parents Alexander Lindsay and Madeleine Spence, her sisters Elizabeth (Daved) Read of Simcoe, and Julie (Gordon) Read of Burlington and niece Lesley Read. At Jo's request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 519-752-4331. Interment of ashes will take place at All Saints Cemetery, Mount Pleasant. Donations to the SPCA would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jo in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
