PALMER, Jean Alison "Jeannie" - Passed away peacefully at Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the age of 58 with her children at her side. Jean will be greatly missed by her children Kristy Palmer and Christopher Palmer and her only grandchild Cashlin Daniel Palmer-Mallet, along with the beloved chosen adopted children who loved her like a mom. Jean leaves behind brothers Ian (Sandra) McDougall and Andrew McDougall; nephews Graham McDougall and Neil McDougall and niece Allison Abbey (McDougall). Predeceased by her parents Nora McDougall (Swineburne) of Liverpool, England and Robert Carrol McDougall of Aberdeen, Scotland. Jeannie was truly a special woman who found a special place in her heart for all she met in her life-time. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Sunday, August 12 from 2 - 3 p.m. A private family service will be held. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jeannie at the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest
