Obituary of Stanley Janeczko

JANECZKO, STANLEY JOHN, JANUARY 24, 1938 – JANUARY 8, 2024 It is with great sadness, that we announce the peaceful passing of Stanley John Janeczko, at the Brantford General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Stanley was in his 86th year, beloved husband of Veronica for 55 years. Loving father of Jennifer, and Jason (Tammy). Dear Rooter of Stefanie, Callista, and Emily Blair. (Rohan Blair, Father of the Children) and Shane Patterson. Survived by his beloved sister Genevieve (Ottawa). Predeceased by his parents Jan and Stefania. Greatly missed by his furry friend Zosiu. Stanley worked for 35 years at Gates Canada, loved the Toronto Blue Jays and the Maple Leafs and especially loved celebrating every achievement of his family. His family was extremely important to him and he was very proud of them. Stanley was a member of the SPK #4 Brantford, a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, a dedicated member of the Polish Hall on Pearl Street, and an enthusiastic member of the Polish Canadian Senior’s Club. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331, on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 235 Brant Ave., Brantford on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Stanley in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
