Obituary of Bob Barber

Barber, Robert Leonard (Spook) Passed away peacefully at Charlotte Villa Retirement Home on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023 at age 94. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Isabel, his parents Cecil and Charlotte, his siblings, Ken, Cecil, Doreen and Lorraine. Loving father of Douglas and Grandfather to Maggie, Steven, Matthew and Addison. Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Margaret Gilmour (Toronto) and his nieces and nephews, especially Jane, his special friend. Bob was a retired employee of CN Rail. He was a long time member of Northridge Golf Club, the Dunsdon Legion and the Navy Club. Bob faced his health challenges in later years like a trooper, always a smile, never a complaint. Bob was laid to rest in a private family committal service officiated by Caitlin McKenzie on November 8th, 2023, twenty-four years to the day that his beloved Isabel passed. The family would like to thank the staff at Charlotte Villa, his home for over six years, Homecare and Community Care Support Services and VON for his end of life care.
