Beckham, Linda (nee Farncombe) - Passed away suddenly at her home on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 in her 76th year. Loving mother of Kristie Beckham and Jill Jain. Cherished grandmother of Maya, Kiran and Halle. Survived by her brother Jack Farncombe (Margaret) and many dear family and friends. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband James Beckham, brother George Farncombe and sister in law Sheila Farncombe, her sister Jean Davidson (nee Farncombe) and her brother-in law Ron Davidson. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. She was a pillar to her family as a loving mother, grandmother and devoted friend. She was a nurse for many years at the Brantford General Hospital on the Obstetrical ward and continued working in health care afterwards. As per her request cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Saturday, November 11th, 2023 from 1:00 until the service time at 2:00 pm. Service of Remembrance will commence in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Special Olympics would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Linda in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
