Obituary of Anne Lesnick

Lesnick, Anne (Alchurch) - September 22nd, 1938 - July 31st, 2023 Mom passed away peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice, in her sleep, on Monday, July 31st, 2023. Loving and dedicated mother to Tom Traver (Sue), Steve Traver (Patty), and Karen. Predeceased by sister Dawn (2022). Much loved Grandmother to Tyson, Brittney, Shane, Cory, Lukas; and Great Grandmother to Colton, Bryson, Brady, Holden, Maddy, William, and James. Favourite Aunt to Doug, Carolyn and Amanda. Born in Bridlington, UK Mom and Dawn arrived in Canada in 1954 as war orphans. Mom eventually started a family and a career in banking, retired as a bank manager. She loved to travel, Nova Scotia and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina being her favourite destinations. The family would like to thank the Dr's, nurses and PSW workers at the Stedman Hospice for their care and compassion. Private cremation has taken place. As we say goodbye, we honour Mom's life and the love she shared with each of us. Her laughter, kindness and humour will live on in our hearts. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. A tree will be planted in memory of Anne in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
