COOPER, DOROTHY M. - Passed peacefully at Cama Woodlands Long Term Care Home on Monday January 27, 2014 in her 97th year. Loving wife of George (d. 2004) for 68 years. Beloved mother of David (Pam), Peter (Suzanne), John (Elizabeth), Philip (Stephen). Cherished grandmother of Kim, Kelli, Krysten, Rhonda, and Jennifer. Great-grandmother of Joshua, Sarah, Ryan, Julia, Maddie and Jessica. Dorothy is also survived by extended family members Gaye, Kathy, and Dianne. Dorothy was well known through her many years of service at The Needle Craft, The Right House, and as a volunteer camera person for Rogers local cable in Brantford. Dorothy was a devoted member of Wesley United Church. Dot will be fondly remembered by all those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Cama Woodlands who took such wonderful care of Dorothy. Friends will be received at the Beckett Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Thursday, January 30th from 1:30pm to 3pm. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 3pm. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Brant would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Dorothy in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
