BILLO, Rose Emily (nee Cleaves) - Peacefully at Hillcrest Village Nursing Home, Midland on Saturday, October 26th, 2013 in her 105th year. Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Billo (1976). Loving mother of Joseph (Joanne McIntyre), of Natick, Mass, and Kathryn (Wayne) Londry, of Penetanguishene. Cherished grandmother of David Billo, Julia Woodard, Sarah Pattee, Christine Powell, and Brent Lonskii, and eight great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by sisters Mae Bayliss and Violet Clarke, and her brother Walter Cleaves. She will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Rose was a graduate of the Brantford General Hospital Nursing Program in 1932. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., on Saturday, November 16th, 2013 from 9 - 10 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Brantford General Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Rose and her husband Ed in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
