SMITH, Bernice (nee Rickwood) - January 2nd, 1917 - January 18th, 2012. A beautiful spirit has left us, in her 96th year. We will miss her love and her beautiful smile. She is predeceased by her loving Smitty (2009). Mother of Dale (Patty) and Ken (Cathie). Grandma of John, Ian, Carly, Will and Gabe and great-grandma to Ashley and Thomas. Special thanks for the excellent care given to both mom and dad from the folks at Brierwood Gardens. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, on Friday, January 20th from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Brant would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Bernice in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
