Obituary of Hank Van Nieuwenhuizen

Van Nieuwenhuizen, Hank - It is with heavy hearts, Hank has gone to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Thursday, March 27th, 2025 at 89 years of age. Loving husband and best friend of Marian Van Nieuwenhuizen (nee: Beringen). Cherished father of Terry and Kim (Jim). Loving Opa of Kayla (Jason), Logan (Kayla), Nick, Ashley (Kyle), Christina, Brittany (Jason) and Great grandchildren Hailey and Lucy and loving Opa to Jackson and Georgia. Cherished stepfather of Mike (Trisha), Greg (Jennifer). Fondly remembered by Gill. Predeceased by brothers Bill (Marian) and John (the late Josefine). Survived by Bert (Jenny), Jenny (John), Marius (Rose), Betty (Wayne), Gerry (Dani), Lysje (Albert). Hank was a faithful member of Bethel Reformed Church in Brantford. Hank was the owner and operator of Hank's Heating and Air Conditioning for over 40 years. He will be fondly missed by all who knew him. Family and friends will be received at Bethel Reformed Church, 506 West St., Brantford, on Monday, March 31st, 2025 from 6-8 pm. Funeral service will take place at Bethel Reformed Church on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 at 11:00 am. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, 519-752-4331. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Joseph's Lifecare Foundation, Bethel Reformed Church, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Hank in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
