Obituary of Bob Phelps

Phelps, Robert William Bob passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital in Palliative Care from a short battle with cancer on Tuesday, August 11th, 2020 in his 80th year. Bob is predeceased from his wife Lillian (2017) of 57 years. Loving father of the late Brian (2002), Michelle (Kevin) and Michael. Loving grandfather of Eric (Alisha) Phelps, Samantha Phelps, Chelsea Gauthier (Jordan) and Kole Frank. Great grandfather of Emma and Cade. Remembered by brother Roger Phelps and sister Joanne Groppmair (Frank). Survived by sister in laws Eva, Susie, Dorothy and brother in law Roger and Bill. Deeply missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents William and Laura, step-father Art Leppard, brother Ron and sister in law Marilyn. Bob worked for Keeprite and White Farm Equipment, later retiring from the Brantford Police Department. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. At the family's request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Ave. Brantford, 519-752-4331. Donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Bob in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
