MacLeod, Anna (Annie) Florence
Born in Baddeck Cape Breton on August 10th, 1929 has gone home to be with the Lord on January 28th, 2020 at the Brantford General Hospital. Survived by her sisters Catherine Pipe (Don) and Charlotte Preuss (Paul), Brothers Bill MacLeod (Judy) David MacLeod ( Deborah) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Lottie MacLeod, brother Frank MacLeod (Reta) and sister Barbara MacLeod and nephews Wilfred MacLeod, Arthur MacLeod (Barbara) Rick MacLeod (Ashleigh), and Robert MacLeod (Lila). Annie moved to Brantford to retire from a long nursing career in Boston/Cape Cod, Massachusetts, a place dear to her heart. She had a deep love for family and friends and her church family at Rawdon Street Baptist Church. Annie was kind and generous, loved life and travel. She was witty, entertaining and fun and loved by so many. She will be greatly missed but we are comforted to know she is in God's loving care. Friends will be received at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford, on Monday, February 3rd, 2020 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment at Oakhill Cemetery. Donations to the Rawdon St. Baptist Church would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Annie in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
