Obituary of Jack Haley

HALEY, John Augustine "Jack" - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, January 19th, 2008 in his 92nd year. Gone to join in heaven his dearly missed wife Jeannette (1999). Dear dad to Jackie Cameron and Patricia and her husband Philip Madden. Loving grandpa to Jennifer (Allan) Ainger, Michelle (John) Bisaillon, Jason (Patty) Moss, Becky Madden, Ann (Pat) O'Rourke, Sue and fiance Chris; and great-grandpa to Allan Jr., Andrew, Gillian, Ethan, Patrick Jr., Kody, Michael and Connor. Jack is survived by his sisters Mary Tilden and Theresa Love and brother Jim and his wife Margaret Haley. Jack was the much loved uncle of several nieces and nephews, and he will be missed by long time, dear and devoted friend Ernie Sager to whom he was a friend for over 57 years. Jack drove truck at Victoria Transport for 53 years and was known as the "Egg Man" from delivering his home grown eggs. At Jack's request cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Wednesday, January 30th, 2008 from 10-11 a.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. with Father Frank Manno officiating. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jack in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
